{mustard glazed chinese cabbage}[gluten-free]

I wasn’t really familiar with the chinese cabbage and honestly, I had no idea what kind of a  dish I would cook with it. However, I already knew that the Chinese New Year Celebration is coming up next week so why not try it out now, even if I am unsure of how it will turn out in the end. Its beautiful color was also irresistible I couldn’t help but buy it. When I finally got home I turned my laptop on and started doing my research on this lovely but still unknown (to me) vegetable. I read many recipes and tips on what to do with this healthy vegetable and in the end all these readings resulted in creating this dish that was really tasty and very easy to make. I can only recommend it to you especially now with the Chinese New Year celebration and all. It’s definitely worth a try!


1 chinese cabbage, cut into quarters


1 ts honey

2 garlic cloves, pressed

1 ts olive oil

1 ts dijon mustard


Mix all ingredients for the marinate and glaze the cabbage with it. Place them onto a baking sheet and bake it until they are golden brown. Sprinkle it with chopped scallion when served.
